Stop radical Victorian laws being copied here in WA!

The WA Law Reform Commission is proposing radical changes to the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 based on controversial changes adopted recently in Victoria.

The effect of these changes would be that Courts and Tribunals could interfere with Christian schools, and even churches, appointing staff based on their faith.

We can stop these radical proposals, but only if we act now.

Spread the Word!

Many people simply don't know about these changes or what they mean for Christian schools and churches. Tell your friends and family about the proposals and make sure that your church leaders are aware as well.

The Government has not released draft legislation in response to the proposals, we need to contact them now to express our concerns.

SIGN THE WA PARLIAMENTARY E-PETITION

This petition calls on the Western Australian Government to "respect this right of parents and role of faith-based schools and ensure that any changes to legislation strengthen that right and role and refrain from any watering down of these essential protections."
